First Impressions

The first thing that caught my attention was the slightly higher price compared to other Bún Chả and Nem spots I had tried in Hanoi. However, as soon as the food arrived, I knew it was worth it. The Bún Chả came with beautifully grilled minced pork and pork belly, perfectly caramelized to a golden brown. A unique touch was that the dish was served on a small heated tray, keeping the food warm and flavorful throughout the meal—a huge plus, since cold Bún Chả can lose its appeal quickly.

The Star of the Show – Nem Cua Bể

The Nem Cua Bể here was generously stuffed with crab meat, lightly infused with the aroma of pepper. The crispy golden wrapper, paired with the restaurant’s sweet and tangy dipping sauce, was absolutely irresistible. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back for more without feeling heavy or greasy. A friendly server even mentioned that their spring rolls were once featured on CNN and had been showcased on American television!

Final Thoughts

Overall, my experience at Nem Vuong was excellent. The portions were satisfying, the presentation was inviting, and the service was exceptionally warm and friendly. If you’re visiting Hanoi, this is definitely a spot worth recommending to tourists, friends, and family. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and family-friendly, making it a great choice for a delicious and authentic Vietnamese meal.
